When an investment opportunity is identified by PARTEQ that is in your area of investing interest, the manager will forward to you an investor package, which will usually include: a pre-negotiated term sheet, business plan of the investee, analysis by PARTEQ, and if evaluated by the Investment Committee, the opinion and comments of Investment Committee. If you are interested in making an investment in this opportunity, you will sign and return the term sheet, and indicate the amount you are willing to invest.
Your investment as a direct investor will be made through a Special Purposed Limited Partnership, the same vehicle as being used by the pooled fund investors. To segregate the pooled and direct investments, pooled investors will receive Class B units while direct investors will receive Class C units.
