Advancing the next generation of OLEDs

Dr. Suning Wang is internationally recognized for her work in the design and synthesis of novel compounds that emit blue luminescence. These compounds have the potential to lead to advances in the development of organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), used in commercial display devices such as flat-screen televisions, computer monitors and cellular telephones. Dr. Wang’s technology shows promise in enhancing the stability, efficiency and service life of the next generation of flat-panel displays. Her research has been recognized with two issued U.S. patents, and she has numerous patents pending.
